Small Business COVID-19 Recovery Loan Program

Nassau County is proud to launch the Boost Nassau Small Business Recovery Loan Program as part of the New York Forward Loan Fund (NYFLF) announced by Governor Cuomo on May 22, 2020 to offer critical stabilization loans to Nassau’s small businesses, MWBEs and non-profits hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Giveaway

On May, 27, 2020 Nassau County Executive Laura Curran announced a partnership between the County’s Office of Community Development and Local Economic Assistance Corporation to supply small businesses with personal protective equipment kits for employees and customers as businesses ramp up efforts to reopen during the coronavirus pandemic. There are currently 5,000 kits available and will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register below and you will be added to the list in the order in which you registered. The kits will include: A contactless infrared digital thermometer, five face shields 400 three-ply masks; 100 pairs of powder-free, vinyl gloves; two gallons of hand sanitizer with a spray pump; and a supply of sanitizing wipes.


  • Employ 20 or fewer full-time equivalent (FTE) employees;
  • Have gross revenues of less than $3 million per year;
  • Been in business for at least 1 year as of the date of loan application; and Located in Nassau County.
  • Have suffered a direct economic hardship as a result of COVID-19 related social distancing policies and stay-at-home order that have materially impacted their operations;
